Seasoning of food

Season of food is very important.It adds an extra taste to our dish.So I am going to show U common seasoning method.

Ingredients :
oil-1 tbsp
cumin seeds-1 tbsp
mustard-1 tbsp
red chillies-1(according to size)
asafoetida-1/4 tbsp

Procedure :
First take 1 tbsp of oil in a pan and heat it.Now add cumin seeds,mustard,red chillies and asafoetida.U will here topping sounds of the seeds then off the flame.Ur seasoning of food is ready.










In this we can also add curry leaves,green chillies,onions,ginger garlic paste.Maintain some distance while seeds r topping because the drops of oil may fall on Ur hands.I wish u a happy and safe cooking.

how to cook rice with out pressure cooker

Now we will see how to cook rice with out pressure cooker.Its very easy and completes fast.It  also taste good.

Ingredients :
1 cup of rice
2 cups of water

procedure :
First take 1 cup of rice in a vessel which is large enough to hold the cooked quantity of rice.Then add 2 cups of water to it.Then place it on the stove with low flame.Now close the vessel with lid(which perfectly fits to the vessel) . Leave it for 5 minutes.After that U will notice boiling of rice . Do not stir. The rice is done when u hear a mild crackling sound . Now off the flame . After 2-3minutes Ur rice is ready to eat.Now lets see the pictures...

Note : In this way of rice preparation we can take starch.We can add some salt to the starch.It is good to health.

how to cook rice in pressure cooker

Today we will see how to cook rice in pressure cooker by stepwise.So many of us don't know how to cook rice in cooker.

Ingredients:
1 cup of rice.
2 cups of water.
Generally 2 & 1/2 to 3 cups of water will require for 1 cup of rice. It depends on  type of rice. Here I am saying about sonamasuri rice. It requires 2 cups of water.
Procedure:
Step-1 : First wash the rice for 2 times. Then add 2 cups of water. 
 
 Step-2 : Add water in the cooker (approximately 1/4 th cup of water)
Step-3 : Now keep the vessel with rice in cooker as shown in the following figure
Step-4 : Now fix the rubber gasket properly to the lid of the cooker                                    
 
Step-5 : Then fix the lid to the cooker and keep it on stove with low flame.When the steam starts escaping through vent then keep the weight.
  
Step-6 : Wait for 3-4 whistles.Then off the flame.Wait for 10-15 minutes until the pressure goes down.
Step-7 : Now open the lid.Your rice is ready :-)
Precautions : Fit the gasket properly to the lid.Once again check water in the cooker.If there is no water in cooker it may lead to blasting of cooker due to pressure.I wish U happy & safe cooking.

Hi this Anusha mother to a 9 months old sreyansh, married to a wonderful person         vedavyas and lives in Hyderabad capital of Andhra Pradesh.


I completed my graduation in computer science and technology.I am very passionate about cooking. My blog yummy-day specially focuses on Andhra cuisine. My husband loves eating and he is very enthusiastic in tasting different recipes. So I tried a variety dishes of multi cuisine and going to share those recipes through this blog. Being a gulti I mainly focuses on Andhra cuisine. 

Eating junk food gives a refreshment in our daily diet but we make it as our daily diet. Even though we know it we are helpless to avoid. By changing ingredients we can bring that taste to our healthy recipes. My intention is to create a healthy recipes which tastes better than junk  foods. 

I have no formal training in photography. Soon I make my photographs look nice. As a student of computers I know webdesigning but not in depth.
